Background
Since our founding in 1960, Cooper Carry has established a reputation for thoughtful design in a wide range of project types: university buildings, science and technology facilities, urban design and planning; mixed-use centers; corporate and investment office buildings; hotels, conference and convention centers; retail and specialty centers; and residential facilities.
Cooper Carry is comprised of five key disciplines: planning, architecture, interiors, landscapes and graphics. Beneath the umbrella of these disciplines are a dozen practice groups with expertise in Hospitality, Corporate, Office, Retail, Residential, Science & Technology, Education (K-12 and University), Government and Mixed-Use projects. The Center for Connective Architecture is a planning-based think tank that draws from each discipline and employs expertise outside the design disciplines in its work.For each project we draw from all disciplines and practices, creating cross-disciplinary teams that blend a remarkable range of expertise and deliver a comprehensive design vision that would be impossible with a less diverse mix of talent. Every project benefits from the discrete skills of multiple specialists, and the overarching creative vision of a seasoned principal.
Through our four nationally-focused offices, we have provided holistic design services to many of the nations most prominent clients, including public/private ventures, public-sector agencies, universities, corporations and developers. Collectively, the firm has planned and executed the design of over forty new urban districts, representing millions of square feet of facilities and billions of dollars in public/private investment. Since our founding more than forty years ago, Cooper Carry has undertaken a vast range of project types including urban design and planning; mixed-use town centers; corporate and investment office buildings; hotels, resorts, conference and convention centers; retail malls and specialty centers; and residential, educational, and government facilities.
