Nationally recognized design firm chosen for $60 million Fern Creek retail

Barrister Commercial Group LLC has named a nationally recognized
company to lead the design of the $60 million South Pointe
Commons. The Louisville development firm said it hired Cooper Carry to
complete the initial design of the 363,000-square-foot shopping
center on nearly 50 acres at the Southeast corner of Gene Snyder Freeway and Bardstown Road. Cooper Carry, which has offices in Atlanta, New York and Washington, D.C., is described in a news release from Barrister as a thoughtful design firm that develops dynamic, context-driven developments that maximize interaction between buildings, their environment and the surrounding community.
“We have the utmost confidence that the South Pointe Commons
design will be the premier shopping, dining and entertainment
experience in the Louisville area,” said Barrister CEO Frank Csapo in
the release.
