Karen Trimbach, IIDA

Karen joined Cooper Carry in 2006 and was named an Associate in 2008. Karen has worked as Project Manager on various projects across the firm and has been a key contributor in projects across Government, Corporate and Educational specialty practice groups. Karen has been an important part of several award winning projects including the 2009 International Interior Design Association’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter Gold Award for Interior Design for a 40-Day Design/Build Process for the Benning Charter School Renovation in Washington, DC and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Mid Atlantic chapters’ Gold award for the Cooper Carry Offices in Alexandria, VA.

Karen graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree in interior design and received her master’s degree in interior design in 2009 from Marymount University. She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the NAIOP, and the Interior Design Educators Council (IDEC). Karen is also adjunct faculty at Marymount University teaching graduate level studio classes and volunteers as a site visitor for the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).
