A Washington DC native, Layton Golding joined Cooper Carry in 1996 and was named a Senior Associate in 2011 and Associate Principal in 2015. He is responsible for the technical development and planning of large-scale projects, specializing in complex Mixed-Use. In addition, he serves as project manager/architect on numerous major projects in the areas of higher density urban, mixed-use and residential. Layton has worked on several award-winning projects including Bethesda Row in Bethesda, MD, which received a 2002 Excellence Award from the Urban Land Institute. Layton is a graduate of North Carolina University with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Institute of Architects of Northern Virginia, and the Construction Specification Institute (CSI). He is also a LEED AP® and a registered architect.
