Mark Jensen, AIA, LEED AP joined Cooper Carry in 1988. He was named Associate in 1994 and Associate Director in 2000, Principal in 2004. He guides the Science & Technology studio and his expertise includes the programming and design of public and private research and education facilities. Mark is versed in laboratory planning, sustainable design, campus master planning, and mixed-use facilities master planning. He has developed laboratory installations and renovations for numerous campuses including those of Auburn University, the University of Alabama, Dillard University, the University of Georgia and Georgia State University. His work on the Emory University Mathematics & Science Center received the 2002 AIA Merit Award for Design in the State of Georgia.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Design degree from the University of Florida and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois. He is a LEED Accredited Professional, is registered in Georgia and South Carolina and holds NCARB certification. Mark is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
