Rich Cogburn

Principal

Rich Cogburn, AIA, LEED AP joined Cooper Carry in 1982 and was named an Associate in 1984, an Associate Director in 1989 and a Principal in 1992. He directs Cooper Carry's  Corporate Studio, providing architectural design, facility planning and interior design services. Rich has designed several types of corporate facilities including high-tech office/administrative space; computer and operations facilities; conference, classroom and training facilities. He has expertise in security, telecommunications and data systems; multiple engineering disciplines; value engineering analysis; and the fast-track process. Rich's projects have been recognized by the corporate office industry for years. In particular, Barnett Banks Corporate Campus (now Bank of America) in Jacksonville, Florida received several awards including the Project of the Year Award from Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Rich is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Society of Architectural Historians. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University. He is registered in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland and West Virginia and is certified with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
