As Principal of Office Workplace at Cooper Carry, Bill Halter brings more than 30 years of mixed-use experience to projects where office, multifamily, hotel, and retail converge. He has a knack for inspiring project teams and clients to create spaces that are approachable, sophisticated, and practical. He has led design projects ranging from large corporate campuses to non-profit buildings that are integrated into the community’s fabric.

Bill has served as a commissioner on the Atlanta Urban Design Commission and is a founding board member of the Georgians for Passenger Rail. He is the incoming president of the Atlanta Memorial Park Conservancy. Bill is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), and Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he has served on the Public Infrastructure and Development Council.

Bill holds a Bachelor in Architecture from Ohio State University and a Master in Architecture and Urban Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is registered to practice in six states and is a LEED AP®.
