The Post Alexander, currently under construction and with a scheduled completion date of late 2007, is a five-story, 396,728-square-foot residential wood-frame building atop two levels of a 179,202-square-foot parking deck. The front entry side of the building has two levels of single-loaded residential going down to the ground – so from the front it appears to have seven levels of residential. The 530-space parking deck is only visible on the west side.
Other unique aspects of the 307-unit complex are the two courtyards in the middle of the building – they are equivalent in size to two football fields. The north courtyard offers a natural wooded landscape, while the southern courtyard presents an activity courtyard with a pool and grill area.
