FBI Jackson Field Office

Our governing design concept was to reflect the values of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)—fidelity, bravery and integrity. On a very basic level, we responded to the comfort and security of the campus users and visitors. At the same time we respected the surrounding neighborhood and City of Jackson to form a collective appropriate design that reflects the dignity, enterprise, vigor and stability of the Federal Government. As a means to integrate the campus into the surrounding area, we respected many objectives such as prominent building approach, sun angles, site ventilation and topography. This FBI Field Office is a multi-story, design-build, 110,000 square foot, Class A office building, designed and constructed with a structural steel frame system, architectural precast, and energy efficient punched windows. Column bay spacing has been maximized for efficient and flexible office layout. Building amenities include a gym, lounges, staff kitchens, conferencing and collaboration rooms. This mission critical building is designed to meet GSA force protection requirements.
