Cooper Carry worked with the new owner of the South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, Florida, repositioning the property. Cooper Carry provided a thorough analysis of the opportunities and restrictions of the site, zoning and land use. We also identified goals and objectives and completed an overall master plan establishing short and long term goals for the resort. The first phase of the master plan, included the renovation of the restaurant, FF&E upgrades, new pedestrian access to various venues, and lighting and wayfinding strategies. Additionally, Cooper Carry completed a Resort Guideline Manual to address visitor amentities, landscape enhancements and hardscapes design criteria. The low profile zero entry pools allow for scenic panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico.
