US Border Patrol Museum

Cooper Carry provided concept designs for a fund-raising package for the U.S. Border Patrol Museum Expansion and Renovation in El Paso, TX. The design included approximately 10,000 square feet of renovation to the existing building and 13,000 square feet of expansion. The entire project included two acres plus adjacent museum sites.
Components of the project included a wilderness park, a shared cafe, a shared exterior amphitheater, an expanded exterior exhibit area, new secure interior displays, flexible conference spaces, and a New Honorary Hall and Meditation Garden. Designed to achieve LEED Platinum, sustainable features included efficient space planning, improved air quality, improved climate control and the potential harvesting of renewable energy.
