Sustainable Design


Sustainable design is a firm-wide practice at Cooper Carry. Our commitment to environmentally responsible design includes LEED accreditation of over 60 members of our professional staff. The teams recent sustainable design experience includes the LEED Certified Emory University Mathematics and Science Center and Atlanta Food Bank projects.

Cooper Carry's Laboratory for Sustainability is housed in our recently completed new office in Washington D.C. which is expected to achieve a USGBC Gold LEED certification.

We believe that sustainable design is Smart design. As a large architectural and design firm, Cooper Carry believes in an integrated design approach. Through the applied integration of architecture, landscape architecture, planning, and interior design, we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to help preserve the health of the environment for future generations to come. We are committed to the design of buildings that sustain and restore our environment through the efficient use of materials, energy, and water resources that place high priority on the health of the indoor environment and limit the negative impact on the overall site.
