Abbey Oklak AICP, LEED AP
Abbey joined us in 2011 was named Associate in 2017. She is a project manager in our retail, mixed use, and planning studios. Abbey has more than 10 years’ experience in architecture and planning, and works on projects ranging from schematic building designs to public sector plans. Her unique background allows her to focus on community building, public realm design, and mixed-use developments that emphasize walkable neighborhoods and place-making. Abbey has a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Art in Sustainable Urbanism and Architecture from the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community / the University of Wales. She is AICP licensed, a LEED Accredited Professional, and is currently completing her architectural registration exams. Abbey is also a board member and secretary of the DC chapter of the Congress for New Urbanism, and she serves her local community through her civic association by organizing public events in the neighborhood park.
