Alex Ilaoa RA

Alex Ilaoa joined Cooper Carry in 2019 as a Project Designer / Architect after returning to Atlanta from Denver, where she gained 5 years of experience working on large commercial office and mixed-use projects. As a valuable member of Cooper Carry’s Office Workplace studio, she was promoted to Associate in 2021. Alex is dedicated to thoughtful design across all phases of projects and believes that architecture has the power to strengthen community. She is passionate about designing places that shape the public’s daily experience and enrich local identity.

Alex is a Registered Architect. She has a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. Outside of Cooper Carry, Alex is inspired and energized by nature, and you will likely find her hiking trails with her dog or camping.
