Associate

Elias Darham joined Cooper Carry in 2016 and has since been involved in significant projects with the firm’s Office Workplace studio. He has a wide range of experience with international, retail, mixed-use residential, and hospitality projects. Promoted to Associate in 2021, he is a passionate technologist, bringing creative and emerging strategies to the table in his work.

Elias earned a Master of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Design Research in Architectural Technologies from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Parallel to his graduate studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Elias served as a research assistant with the Spatial Information and Architecture Laboratory at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. During his studies, he received the Henry Adams AIA Certificate, the RPI Faculty Award for Service, and the Norman Waxman Memorial Award.

Elias is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CBTUH), the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture (ACADIA), and he serves as Vice-Chair of the Atlanta Young Architects Forum. He is a LEED AP® Building Design + Construction and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
