JD Lambert LEED AP BD+C, Fitwel Ambassador, RELi AP, Assoc. AIA

JD Lambert joined Cooper Carry in 2021 as the firm’s Sustainability Leader. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic and Interactive Communication from the Ringling College of Art and Design, and worked in the creative industries where she realized the gap in sustainable products and building design. This led her to obtain a Master of Architecture degree from the Golisano Institute for Sustainability at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

JD is a purpose-driven and process-oriented designer, with more than a decade of design and project management experience with builds of various sizes and objectives. She educates clients on ways to link their business goals with their relationship to the environment.

JD holds credentials validating sustainability efforts with third-party certifications, such as LEED, RELi, and Fitwel, and she also focuses on embodied carbon optimization and the circular economy in supporting projects. When JD is not sharing her passion for sustainable design with the community, she enjoys CrossFit, experimenting in the kitchen, and exploring the outdoors.
