Katy Daugharty AIA
Senior Associate
Katy joined Cooper Carry in 2017 and was named Associate in 2019 and Senior Associate in 2021. She has worked as a project architect on a number of public education projects in New York and Georgia, with a focus on additions, renovations, and historic preservation. Katy has managed projects that include reconstruction of historic detail, multi-story building additions, and full renovation projects. This work integrates Katy’s interests in public education with her passion for rehabilitating existing structures and providing sustainable solutions for growth.
Katy received her Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees at Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Cooper Carry, she worked as an architect for 10 years in New York City, completing multiple public school projects. She has completed the RESTORE course on Masonry Conservation and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE).
