Associate
Madeleine Bell joined Cooper Carry in 2018 and was promoted to an Associate in 2023. Her focus is in designing thoughtful and impactful science and technology, higher education, and K-12 projects, where future generations will be set up for success. She also has experience in multifamily residential, hospitality, retail, and master planning. Madeleine works closely with clients to determine their unique needs and interests, and to deliver successful and resilient projects. Her greatest passion is for sustainability in the built environment and beyond.
Madeleine is a native of Salt Lake City, UT, and she graduated from Chapman University with a degree in mathematics. She spent semesters abroad in Rome and Paris studying the urban architecture of each great city, fueling her desire to go to Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and earn her Master of Architecture.
Madeleine is a registered architect and is an active member of the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Builds Bio+, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and Urban Green Council. She has participated in the Emerging Leaders Program with the Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation. Madeleine has also earned her credentials as a LEED® Green Associate™ and Fitwel Ambassador.
