Leadership

Nate Williamson joined Cooper Carry in 2003 and was named a Senior Associate in 2012 and subsequently an Associate Principal in 2015. As a project designer, he focuses on our Higher Education and Science + Technology Studios with design experience on a multitude of project types including student centers, student recreation centers, residence halls, classroom and laboratory buildings, healthcare teaching buildings and campus planning. Nate has worked on the design of award-winning projects such as the Kennesaw State University Health Science Building, which received the 2010 McGraw-Hill Construction Award of Excellence in the College & University Category. Nate is a graduate from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Architecture and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI), the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and is a registered architect.
