Richard Berrios AIA, NCARB, LEED Green Associate

Richard Berrios graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston. He is a passionate architect who prides himself on his discerning eye for detail, ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, and keen ability to work across teams to deliver projects that meet and exceed client goals and expectations.

Richard began his career in high-end, single-family residential design. With an interest in designing new building typologies and experiencing a walkable city, Richard joined Cooper Carry’s Washington, DC office in 2014, where he worked on hospitality, mixed-use, and science and technologies projects. In 2021, Richard joined the Hospitality Studio in the New York office, where he was promoted to Associate in 2023. His interests in fabrication and 3D modeling help provide a unique insight on projects, especially in the beginning stages of design, and allow him to communicate more effectively with contractors throughout the process.

Richard is a registered architect, as well as a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is a LEED Green Associate.
