Yory Teperman AIA
Yory Teperman joined Cooper Carry in 2017 as Project Architect in its New York office, and was named an Associate in 2019. Prior to joining Cooper Carry, Yory was design team leader at KPF, and, prior that, project architect and exterior architect at SOM, with over 15 years of experience in the design, management, and delivery of a range of commercial projects, including high-rise office and mixed-use towers, large-scale retail, cultural, institutional, and high-end residential projects in the United States, South Korea, China, and Thailand. His last New York project with KPF was recognized with an AIA NY Merit Award for Design Excellence. Yory’s focus on high-rise typology followed his interest in the issues of urban density and the use of innovative technologies to address complex inter-disciplinary issues. Yory studied painting, sculpture, and philosophy at Bennington College, and holds a Master of Architecture Degree from Yale School of Architecture, where he was also a Teaching Fellow and a Smithsonian Institution researcher.
