Triangle Junction

Brooklyn, New York

Located along Flatbush Avenue, The Junction is a 260,000-square-foot retail center on three levels serviced by a 500-car parking deck. The project provides a mix of small community-based retailers at the pedestrian friendly street level and large regional and national chains on upper levels. A dramatic glazed atrium fronting Brooklyn’s main shopping artery provides access and visibility to upper floors. Glass pylons provide signature signage beacons for the project and retailers. Conceptually and visually the project mediates between a dense urban district and surrounding low-rise residential communities. The Junction spans the Long Island Railroad, a heavily used commuter rail corridor serving the eastern suburbs and New York City Transit subway lines.
