Michael Gunter AIA

Michael Gunter is an Associate and Senior Project Architect at Cooper Carry’s Hospitality Studio. With over 16 years of experience in hospitality architecture, he possesses a deep understanding of projects, from initial concept design to construction administration. His portfolio includes work throughout North America and the Caribbean, featuring both large-scale renovations and new developments.

Driven by a passion for creating guest experiences that are both functional and memorable, Michael designs a range of properties, from flagship business hotels to bespoke boutique accommodations.

Before earning his Master of Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Michael worked in advertising, supporting national brands such as Russell Athletic and AT&T Wireless. This early career experience continues to influence his design sensibility and client-focused approach. He is a Registered Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
