Maria joined Cooper Carry in 2021 as Assistant Controller, bringing more than 20 years of experience in public and corporate accounting. In her role, she supports the Controller across the firm’s financial operations, including oversight of general ledger accounts, month-end closing, financial statement preparation, annual reviews, financial analysis, reporting, and day-to-day operations. Maria focuses on improving processes and increasing efficiencies while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the firm’s financial data.
Maria earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2004.
