Matt Wilson AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Fitwel Amb.

Matt Wilson joined Cooper Carry in 2014 and has since advanced through several positions: he became an Associate in 2017, a Senior Associate in 2019, and an Associate Principal in 2023. He leads the firm’s Advanced Industries Studio and collaborates with the Science + Technology Studios located in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.

With over 25 years of experience in architecture and design, Matt specializes in advanced industries, including biotechnology, life sciences, pharmaceutical manufacturing, automation, robotics, semiconductor facilities, mixed-use developments, and master planning. His passion for technology, science, construction, innovation, and client service allows him to deliver high-performance workplaces and cGMP-compliant facilities that meet complex operational requirements while enhancing the human experience.

Matt graduated summa cum laude from Auburn University, earning a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Interior Architecture degree. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College. He is a registered architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and a LEED AP® in Building Design + Construction (LEED AP® BD+C). Additionally, he is a Fitwel Ambassador (Fitwel Amb.).
