The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa Renovation

Scottsdale, AZ

Cooper Carry was tasked with renovating several facilities at the Westin Kierland Resort by Host Hotels & Resorts. The renovation covered 40 guestroom suites, 32 stand-alone casitas, and 10 hospitality suites designed for business meetings that can be converted into a bedroom via a Murphy bed. The concierge lounge was also converted into three guest rooms, bringing the resort’s total number of keys to 735.

The project scope also included refreshing the guestroom corridors and replacing entry counters, bathroom vanities, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, furniture, and interior finishes.

The client’s goal was to enhance the Westin brand and integrate the tones and hues of its surroundings in the Sonoran Desert. Almost all guestrooms feature a private balcony for visitors to enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather and the mountain views over the resort’s golf course.
