Alexa Lehrer AIA, NCARB, Fitwel Amb.

Alexa Lehrer joined Cooper Carry in 2023 and was promoted to Associate in 2025. A licensed architect in Colorado, she works across both architecture and interior design. Her experience spans retail, multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, and master-planned communities, contributing across all phases of design and documentation.

Alexa is passionate about creating spaces that tell a story and evoke a strong sense of place. With a lifelong love of travel and diverse cultures, she brings a global perspective to her work. She is especially drawn to historic preservation and adaptive reuse, believing that existing architecture can enrich and inform new environments.

She earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver. Alexa is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and is a Fitwel Ambassador.

Outside of work, Alexa enjoys exploring new restaurants, biking through the city, and playing pickleball. Her dog, Winnie, is the unofficial greeter at Cooper Carry’s Boulder office.
