Leadership, Associate Principal
Allison Bickers is an Associate Principal in the Urban Design + Planning Studio at Cooper Carry. She has extensive experience as an urban designer, having worked on a variety of public and private planning projects throughout the United States. Her background includes historic preservation, economics, and planning.
Allison has managed a diverse range of projects, including mixed-use developments, downtown revitalization, neighborhood and community plans, transit-oriented communities, and retail design guidelines for both public and private sector clients. Her work reflects her commitment to creating communities that are aesthetically pleasing and economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable.
Allison holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Economics from Presbyterian College and a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation from the University of Maryland’s School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and the Georgia Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). Additionally, she serves as Chair of the Cobb Transit Advisory Board.
