Corey Riley AIA, NCARB, NOMA

Associate

Corey Riley joined Cooper Carry in 2018 and was named Associate in 2022. With nearly 20 years of experience in hospitality, he is skilled in hotel brand conversions, major renovations, and new construction. In each project type, Corey strives to create design that provides the guest with a genuine sense of and exposure to the culture of the visiting city. With many hotels renovating each year, Corey enjoys designing to the latest trends in the design field.

Like the diversity of design that the hospitality sector offers, Corey is also an advocate for diversity in the design industry itself. As a current member of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and past Board Member of the NOMA Atlanta Chapter, he is part of a national effort to introduce and promote architecture to a diverse audience, including America’s youth.

Corey is a registered architect who earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Tuskegee University and a Master of Business Administration in Global Business from Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to NOMA, he is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
