Associate

Dyesha Holmes is an Associate and Architect at Cooper Carry, where she works at the intersection of architecture and planning. Since joining the firm in 2019, she has contributed to a variety of projects, including mixed-use and multifamily residential developments, office spaces, retail, and urban design work. Dyesha brings a multidisciplinary perspective that combines strategic planning with the technical precision of architectural design.

Passionate about creating equitable and community-focused environments, Dyesha approaches every phase of the design process with a holistic perspective. She advocates for inclusive practices and previously served on Cooper Carry’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council (EDIC), helping to shape the firm’s internal culture and the impact of its work on the communities it serves.

Dyesha holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kennesaw State University and is a Registered Architect in Georgia. She is a Fitwel Ambassador and an active member of both the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). In 2022, she was selected for the AIA Georgia Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program. While at Kennesaw State, Dyesha was honored as the first recipient of the ARCC King Medal for her research project, “Reframing Urban Redevelopment via Women Empowerment: Sustaining Existing Community in the West End Neighborhood.”
