John Bittinger is an Associate and Project Architect at Cooper Carry, where he specializes in designing innovative educational environments. Since joining the firm in 2023, John has utilized his extensive experience in K-12 education, higher education, and science and technology projects to create dynamic spaces that foster learning and discovery. His portfolio includes classrooms, laboratories, STEM facilities, and Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) environments, all designed with a strong emphasis on functionality, flexibility, and future-ready learning.
John leads projects through all phases, using design technology to streamline workflows and ensure the delivery of efficient, high-performing facilities. He collaborates closely with clients to prioritize needs, maintain budgets, and ensure that each project aligns with both pedagogical goals and long-term usability.
John earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a Registered Architect in Georgia, a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP® BD+C), and holds certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
