Leadership

Kristin Halloran joined Cooper Carry in 2018 and was named an Associate in 2019 and Senior Associate in 2021. She is the Director of Cooper Carry’s Historic Rehabilitation and Adaptive Reuse service area. Her project experience with governmental, institutional and non-profit clients is complemented by her passion for the stories that are inherent in historic places and her dedication to the human-centered character of traditional urban environments. Her career has focused on rehabilitation and preservation of the built environment at all scales, encompassing everything from the handcrafted details of historic cabins to the future of neighborhoods.  She also has experience in condition assessment, preservation planning and feasibility studies, preservation-related economic incentives, and management of cultural landscapes and other historic resources.

Kristin received a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and English from Smith College and a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Association for Preservation Technology.
