Matt Guelcher AIA
Matt Guelcher grew up in Alexandria, Va., and returned home from Atlanta to join Cooper Carry’s Washington DC office in 2012. He was named a Senior Associate in 2017 and is focusing on the design direction and growth of the Residential Studio in DC. Matt has worked on prominent residential projects such as The Woodley (aka Wardman West) and the Landmark Mall Residential Repositioning, and continues to develop adaptive reuse strategies for the ever growing residential DC marketplace. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Architecture. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a registered architect in the state of Georgia. When not working on the renovation design for his home, he can be found disturbing the neighbors with his garage band, OMB.
