Patrick S. Finucan AIA

Patrick S. Finucan is an Associate and Project Architect at Cooper Carry, with over 20 years of experience spanning a range of sectors, including adaptive reuse and historic preservation, education, government, low-rise hospitality, religious, and retail projects. He is involved in all phases of design and documentation, from initial concept development to construction administration. Patrick is recognized for his ability to produce detailed construction drawings and precise specifications, which ensure high-quality execution in the field.

His extensive knowledge of 3D modeling and drafting enhances interdisciplinary coordination, improving project delivery. Patrick collaborates closely with zoning and permitting authorities, conducts site visits and field measurements, and maintains effective communication among teams throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Originally from Irwin, Pennsylvania, Patrick holds a Master of Architecture from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Saint Vincent College. He is a Registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
