Bob Neal AIA

For 25 years, as a Principal at Cooper Carry’s Hospitality Studio, Bob directed the design of hospitality projects throughout the United States, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. He specialized in the design of Boutique, Resort, and Convention Center Hotels, where he focused on the uniqueness of the people and places where he worked; each influencing the opportunities to create memorable experiences through thoughtful design.

Since 2024, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He has practiced architecture for 46 years, specializing in hotel design since joining Cooper Carry in 1988. His work has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Register of Historic Places, and various other national and local associations for design excellence and urban responsibility.

Bob graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and has held licenses in 25 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and remains certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration.
