The multifamily architects and interior designers at Cooper Carry designed the award winning AMLI Lenox, a 22-story, luxury high-rise and adjacent five-story, mid-rise residential development in close proximity to three other AMLI properties - AMLI 3464, AMLI Buckhead, and AMLI Flatiron - in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.
The project is known for its best-in-class amenities, squarely aimed at its target market. Key features of the interior design are a monumental spiral stair, a “swing lounge," a coffee lounge with individual huddle booths, a large amenity level that houses a fitness center, yoga room and rooftop swimming pool, a club room on Level 21, a private fitness center, club room and wine tasting room on Level 22, and a “basement” amenity which has a game room, theater room, and makers' space fully-equipped with tools. The property also features a bocce ball court, a designated rideshare pickup area, and pet spa. Several exterior lounge spaces can also be found throughout the property.
AMLI Lenox, which received its certificate of occupancy in January 2020 at the outset of the global coronavirus pandemic, stabilized four months ahead of schedule with an occupancy of 92.58%, 30 day out of 94.88% and 60 day out of 94.37%. Rent per square foot has increased since that time.
Cooper Carry's Interior Design Studio, Environmental Graphic Design Studio and Branding Studio worked closely together to ensure this project resonated with potential residents and helped AMLI Lenox have its own personality among adjacent residential projects. Our team came together early in the project to create environmental branding, ensuring all touchpoints were strong and consistent. Our team's objective was to create a logotype that embodied the identity of this property, from exterior and interior finishes to amenity spaces and signage. The spaces are full of energy with woven textiles, bright accents, neon signs, and quirky messages throughout. The logotype is professional, but not too serious. The use of a unicase typeface communicates this quirkiness, through upper and lowercase letters paired together.
Cooper Carry's Environmental Graphic Design and Branding Studios developed the initial branding, including logo, brand colors, typographic elements, graphic patterns, experiential graphics, and building signage.
AMLI Lenox, which is certified LEED Gold, has won several awards for design including the 2021 IIDA Georgia Best of the Best Award, Live, Best of Multifamily and a 2020 Multi-Housing News Design & Development Excellence Award, Multifamily High-Rise Category.
