Located in the Eisenhower neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia, Carlyle Crossing is a destination development for the emerging transit-oriented district developing around the Eisenhower Metro Station, just south of Duke Street. Carlyle Crossing will provide over 210,000 GSF of retail that includes grocery and fitness anchors, street retail, and plaza-oriented food and beverage establishments. The public realm plaza will become the community gathering space for the entertainment retail, corporate office, and residences that already exists in this district.
Just two blocks north of the Eisenhower Metro Station, Carlyle Crossing will consist of three towers for residential living that include a structured parking podium and three acres of amenity areas for residents. With a total of 703 residential units above the podium, the 10 story luxury condominium will include 134 units plus a roof-top amenity terrace. The multi-family tower reaches up to 13 stories with 430 units, penthouse club and roof amenities. The Senior Living tower will be 10 stories including 139 units plus roof amenities.
Serving three different types of residential occupants (owners, renters, and seniors), the three acres of amenity areas will provide active and passive spaces between the towers for healthy lifestyles. The development is in the final stages of entitlement approvals, with an expected occupancy date of second quarter 2022.
