The District in Davie

Davie, FL

Cooper Carry is designing an exciting new $1 billion mixed-use development in Davie, Florida, centrally located near both Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. The District in Davie will include 1.6 million square feet of multifamily residential apartments with indoor and outdoor amenities; 36,000 square feet of restaurants and retail including a small grocer; and 2,650 parking spaces. It will be the largest multifamily project in the city’s history.

The District in Davie is intended to appeal to a hip, professional demographic. Five buildings, ranging from 20–24 stories, will provide an array of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, from 589 to 1,460 square feet. The master plan positions these apartments to maximize views to the public green spaces, with lively restaurants and retail, as well as the nearby Seminole Hard Rock hotel, with its iconic guitar shape rising into the sky.

Building amenities will include fitness and spa treatment facilities, pet-friendly amenities, children’s play area, as well as co-working spaces and meeting rooms. A luxurious penthouse-level Sky Lounge will also be offered for indoor/outdoor entertaining. Outdoor offerings, like kitchens, fire pits, and green space, provide necessary connections to nature and promote wellness, while sustainability elements include the electric vehicle charging stations and LED lighting.
