Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse – Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse is a two-level, elegant steak restaurant designed to harken back to the glory days of old Hollywood glamour. Upon entering from the upscale Century City mall concourse, the guest is greeted with lavish architectural design featuring custom geometric white and black marble floors and a warmly lit ceiling with a series of barrel vaults.  The kitchen is placed behind a curved, ribbed glass wall, partially obscuring the views while providing hints of activity from the shadows beyond.

The restaurant’s impressive 12,000 bottle collection of wine serves as a backdrop to the private dining and main dining rooms. Custom crystal chandeliers inspired by paparazzi vintage flashbulbs float through the space, sparkling as they cascade through the open serpentine stair to the bar level below. Leather chairs, mohair booths and banquettes, and buffalo hide table tops add to the level of luxury for the culinary experience.

On the first level, a bi-folding glass partition system along the exterior opens up entirely, allowing the bar to overlook Santa Monica Boulevard and the environment to flow from indoors to out in the temperate Los Angeles climate.   The stair from the second level serves as a dramatic backdrop, while wine, decorative art glass and intimate settees line the perimeter of the room.
