Located in the Waterfront District in Charleston, South Carolina, LifeEdge Labs occupies a floor of the 22 Westedge development. This collaborative laboratory environment was designed as a launchpad for high-potential entrepreneurs in life sciences and biotech startups. The Labs offer fully equipped and professionally-operated laboratory and office space with a significant amount of the necessary services and support that early-stage companies need to begin laboratory operations from day one. The Labs are intellectually and culturally enhanced with researchers participating in a rich collaborative community adjacent to the Medical University of South Carolina Discovery District.

The branding team underwent a thorough naming exercise, and worked to design a clean and modern logo which features a bubbling beaker within the negative space of the G. The two-tone color palette splits the words life and edge for increased readability with a contemporary flair. The color palette pulls the cyan blue from the overall Westedge brand and pairs it with a vibrant orange representative of energy and innovation.
