Molly B’s at Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Atlanta, GA

The Johnson Studio at Cooper Carry  was chosen to design this new signature restaurant at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta. Named after the mother of  Arthur Blank, the owner of the Atlanta Falcons, Molly B's offers sweeping views of the new and innovative stadium that serves as the official home of two teams, the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, and numerous entertainment events.

The high-profile restaurant is located just off the concourse and adjacent to one of the busiest entrances in the stadium, providing an excellent opportunity for visibility but also posing a challenge for the design team to create a somewhat protected venue. The team created a curved screen modeled after a bird's nest to envelop guests and add warmth to the expanse of concrete, steel and glass. The interior is highlighted with spots of Falcon's red. Highlighting the bar is a lighted focal point that also serves as bottle storage. This unique design can be seen throughout the stadium. Offering both traditional table seating, bar seating, and standing height tables, Molly B's offers guests an exciting and upscale dining experience while providing unparalleled views of the game.
