Atlantic Park is a locally inspired, mixed-use entertainment district created to bring the vibrancy of the Virginia Beach community to life. Situated amidst the diverse neighborhoods of Central Beach, the up-and-coming ViBe Creative District, and the lively oceanfront boardwalk, Atlantic Park offers an engaging outdoor destination for families, anchored by a top-notch surf park.

Spanning four blocks, the district includes a live entertainment venue, office space, urban residential units, and various unique retail and dining options. The development's park-like setting fosters a walkable environment, seamlessly connecting with the iconic oceanfront boardwalk and providing an ideal setting for a new year-round outdoor experience catering to surfers, tourists, and families alike. Additionally, the space will be well-suited for hosting meetings, special events, and conventions.

Cooper Carry serves as Architect of Record and collaborated with Hanbury, who also acted as Design Architect along with Cooper Carry and Gensler, on the Northwest Block and North Block Mixed-use as well as the Venue.  Hanbury provided full Design Architect and Architect of Record services on the project’s WaveGarden and Beach.
